My work within marine environmentalism and archaeology

I’m pretty much a lifetime waterman, having learnt to swim at a young age and spending summers exploring the nooks and crannies of the French Mediterranean coast. By the time I was 10, I was doing 3 minute breath holds and plunging to 40 feet without fins or a mask.

As a teenager, a family friend introduced me to snorkeling and spearfishing, which opened up a whole new world for me. This world was further expanded when I discovered scuba diving.

Since then, I’ve accumulated a long list of certifications. I am a NAUI dive instructor, and routinely teach diving to beginner and experienced divers alike, I’m a commercial diver, and I have participated in and planned several dive expeditions, most of them with an archaeological or conservationist aim.

I have also worked on product testing and development, working on everything from prototype development, over product refinement, and to reviews of existing products.
